Recruitment at Epiroc

Hiring the right employees is essential to building a strong and talented organization.  Recruitment is a strategic part of organizational development and needs professional structures and processes.

Our Recruitment Process

  1. Acknowledge applications (automatic)
  2. Screening and shortlisting
  3. First interview
  4. Background checks and permits*
  5. Final shortlisting
  6. Second interview
  7. Reference check and assessments
  8. Third interview (optional)
  9. Decide who to hire and get grandparent approval
  10. Additional background tests/medical checks if applicable
  11. Offer position
  12. Provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates**

*Background check can also be done later in the process depending on national laws, role and situation.

**Keep in touch with candidates throughout the entire process and give feedback earlier if qualifications are not there at all. 


Onboarding at Epiroc

The onboarding process starts as soon as an offer is accepted. We want to give all our new employees a good experience. Our employees should always feel welcome. We strive to do this quickly and efficiently so that our new employees are comfortable in their new roles and new environments in no time.

We also have mandatory induction trainings as well as Local company introductions.
  1. Introduce employee to team & colleagues
  2. Meet & greet team
  3. Share safety information
  4. Tour of premises
  5. Give employee all necessary safety & office equipment & tools
  6. Introduce buddy for new employee
  7. Set initial development goals & expectations 
  8. One on one meeting with manager
  9. Talk through goals & expectations according to introduction program
  10. Plan regular check-ins
