Janet Nanyangwe – Technical Sales Engineer, Zambia

I am Technical Sales Engineer, at Epiroc Zambia. I studied Metallurgical Engineering (BEng) at the Copperbelt University in Zambia. I joined Epiroc in July 2017, my roles range from field work to administrative work, sales projection, planning, fleet management, and inventory and receivables management.

I enjoy field work as it helps to interact with my customers on a one-on-one basis and presents a good platform to sell ideas and proactive planning.

Working at Epiroc has been a wonderful experience. The company consists of a family of hardworking and motivated people that share their knowledge and encourage one another to be the best that they can be. The environment allows collaboration between different faculties and the work culture has its pros and cons, however, at the end of the day, targets are met and lessons are learned.

“At Epiroc there are plenty of opportunities for career growth as the company prides itself in enriching the competence of all its staff. It’s up to us as employees to work hard and maximize the various opportunities available. ”
